August Vacation

Thanks to Gabby's work and good deals on Hilton Hotels, we had a awesome summer vacation ;)  It was nice to get away from work for a  4 days and enjoy the time together with my 3 beautiful girls!  In preparation for this trip I had been trying to get my AC fixed in my Nissan Sentra to make for a more pleasant trip.   We found a good deal on a car and so  we ended up buying a 06 Honda Civic the day before we left. 

 I registered the car and put in DVD headrest that night and then Friday morning we left at 5 am ;)  It was a pleasant trip besides Mila throwing up an hour into the ride.  Still do not know what caused that little episode!   We arrived in Spokane around noon at the Hampton Inn and took the girls for a swim ;)  Swimming we the highlight of the girls trip, they loved it! 

After swimming we washed some clothes and the car seat cover in the laundry facility then went out to eat at a Chinese restaurant about three miles away.  When we got home we laid down with the girls at 8 so they could fall asleep with plans of us hitting the fitness room, a walk, and the jacuzzi.  We woke up at 8:30 am !  12 hours of sleep felt nice!  I took a run and found a cool pathway along a beautiful river. 

 This was the day of the wedding in Couer d' lane.   We hung out all day and went to the wedding at five. 

 It was at a place called the Sherman House right on the lake with a private Beach.  

 It was a super nice wedding.  We stayed until about 10:30 at night and the girls were dancing with  everyone the whole time. 

 The food was excellent.  We had Prime rib, Honey Garlic Shrimp and Huckleberry Lemonade!   We got back to the hotel and it was too late to swim so we hit the sack.

  Sunday morning we woke up and packed our bags then headed to the Couer d' lane Resort for the  brunch with Jason and Stacey.  The food was REALLY good but in our eyes.... no meal is worth $30 a plate.  But.... that is our opinion ;)  I ate tons of Prime Rib as well as 4 Huckleberry crepes.  After we finished eating we drove to Butte Montana (4 hours)  to spend a night there before heading home on Monday morning.   We swam two times and took a walk down main street.   We drove home on Monday morning and got to our house around 2 pm.  It was a great vacation and I am really amazed at how well my two little princesses did in the car for that long ;)
